“What an absolute pleasure and an amazing experience being treated like royaltly from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The room was beautifully aged giving an experience like no other and so meticulously clean and comfortable... oh the sheets are like melting into butter and the bed was perfect. We had the breakfast and it was perfection.. the service is like service used to be.. served by staff that care about what they are doing and treat you like you truly matter... so many venues could learn alot about hospitality from being here of how to treat a guest. Im looking forward to returning.”

“We did a high tea during the week. Did not stay in the hotel but looks plush. Concierge was very helpful to my aunt who had luggage with her and stored it with no issue. High tea was great service, very attentive and friendly. Food was great, really enjoyed the savoury morsels. Champagne was excellent! The history of the building is wonderful and I loved to see the old lifts and memorabilia. Thank you to the team.”

“If you love staying in a place where you can feel history oozing this is the place for you. It was my birthday when we stayed here and I it was an absolute delight. The room was so quaint and very clean. The bathroom was huge for a hotel and the vibe was just perfect. The Cricketers Arms made the perfect chips and Kudos has the most amazing gluten free food. The perfect place to grab breakfast in the morning. We parked at First parking so it was a short walk to the hotel. Watching the weddings from the Cricketer’s Arms whilst partaking in a few beverages was sweet. Highly recommend staying here.”

“I brought my 82 year old mother for high tea and it did not disappoint! We were initially met at the door by a delightful French man who was very engaging and took us to our table. We were then served for the rest of the afternoon by our waiter Brendan who was wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful. Thank you for a very memorable afternoon - your staff, service and food was absolutely divine”

“We enjoyed afternoon tea to celebrate our anniversary. It was a bucket list item for me and the experience lived up to its reputation. The whole experience was delightful. The gluten free option was very easy to organise and I didn't feel like I missed out on anything compared to the regular menu. Warm savoury pastries, sandwiches, fruity sweets, scones and the extra dessert bar on the weekend. A tasty selection of tea, coffee, chocolate, wines and cocktails.”
